In open heart surgery, which uses a heart and lung pump, a sensor is placed on a 300-milliliter scale to increase the performance of the perfusion and increase the safety factor in detecting the level of blood in the oxygenator tank. The oxygen level liquid detection label is affixed to this degree and the sensor is placed on the label that holds the sensor.
